Zubeyde Yuksek: At YKP Optics, we develop custom and standard software solutions for optical design engineers. Our expertise lies in creating software extensions, DLLs, and macros for Zemax OpticStudio, CODE V, and similar tools, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and system performance.
W3+: In addition to standard tools, you also develop customer-specific software extensions. How does that work?
Zubeyde Yuksek: Every optical design project has unique challenges. Standard tools cover common needs, but some require specialized solutions – this is where our custom software extensions come in. We work closely with clients to understand their workflow and design challenges, identifying areas where automation or advanced analysis can improve efficiency and accuracy. Based on this, we develop tailored extensions, including interactive tools, standalone applications, and custom optimization functions.
