Bei einem Festakt in der Stadthalle Wetzlar wurde am 20. November 2021 der 200. Geburtstag von Moritz Hensoldt gebührend gefeiert. Das Viseum Wetzlar widmet dem Pionier der Optik eine kleine Ausstellung. Eine Festschrift würdigt den Menschen Hensoldt und seinen wegweisenden Einfluss.
