Energy 4.0

Bosch presents new efficiency concepts and intelligent systems for energy generation.

At this year’s ISH Energy fair in Frankfurt, Bosch introduced the next step in energy generation 4.0 for large systems. With the new product family Master Energy Control (MEC System) steam, hot water and combined heat and power (CHP) products from Bosch can be connected to intelligent systems. Direct communication between system components like CHPs and steam boilers ensures higher system efficiency and a long system lifetime. Maximum availability and 24/7 remote service are additional benefits of energy generation plants networked with the MEC System.

Further highlights on the trade fair were the interactive configurators for efficient heating and process heat. Among the most important trends were Bosch’s indoor climate solutions in the networked home. With the Smart Home Controller residents are able to control the indoor climate via Smartphone and the matching app (see image), which is available also for Buderus and Junkers heating systems.
