The new culture program JUNIOR initiated by Viseum Wetzlar, the municipal museums and the youth education center of the city of Wetzlar is designed to enable children and teenagers to experience a sense of achievement through their own creative activity. A large number of workshops provide the young people with the opportunity to experiment with dyes from plant juices and sculptural materials, to slip into the role of their favorite cool comic hero or create fantasy animal figures. All the events are prepared and run by the Mainz museum education officer Jutta Mertens. Further details on the JUNIOR culture program and the various events can be found on the websites of the Viseum and the City of Wetzlar.
