Wetzlar Network

Computational Imaging

On October 22 and 23, 2019, Wetzlar Network is organizing an international expert forum with top-class specialists in Wetzlar.

Computational Imaging is the hottest topic at the moment. Compared to classical image processing, the methods applied here are based on new algorithms and statistic approaches to find a solution like “Deep Learning” and Artificial Intelligence. These are so sophisticated by now that they exceed earlier quality standards by far.

On October 22 and 23, 2019, international experts will be staying in Wetzlar to discuss the chances and opportunities of computational imaging in photography, microscopy, or in the field of three-dimensional reconstruction during a two-day expert panel. Top-class speakers from Stanford and Berkeley, from the universities of Bern, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, from Leica Camera, Leica Microsystems, and Continental will participate.

The event is organized by Wetzlar Network and hosted by Leica Camera AG. The expert forum ist sponsored by Technologieland Hessen and Hessen Trade & Invest – Hessen Economic Development. The German association of high-tech industries Spectaris, the European Photonics Industry Consortium EPIC and the W3+ FAIR / CONVENTION support the event as media partners.

Since the number of participants is limited, we recommend to book in under the mentioned link as soon as possible.
